The project consists of a new, one story facility of approximately 8,000 s.f. for the Family Dollar Corporation. The building offers a large retail space, restroom facilities, small office and a sales support area.
The building structural system comprises of cold-formed steel bearing walls on concrete foundation walls supporting cold-formed steel clear span roof trusses. Lateral loads (wind and seismic forces) in both directions are resisted by the use of cold-formed, x-braced shear walls. The grade floor is constructed as a concrete slab-on-ground.
